This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by Lewis Hamilton in the 2016 Brazilian Grand Prix weekend.

After consecutive wins at the United States and Mexico, Hamilton arrived in Brazil looking for his first victory at Ayrton Senna’s home. Remembering his childhood idol, Hamilton changed his usual white helmet collection to lemon yellow. The stunning part of the design is the addition of the blue and green stripes of Senna’s typical helmets on the sides and the front. The Cristo Redentor remained and the Brazilian flag was added on the back of the head protector.

Hamilton was quickest on Saturday and started from Pole Position for the second time of his career at Brazil, and the first time since joining Mercedes. He dominated Sunday’s wet race from start to finish and won for the first time in Interlagos to keep his championship hopes alive.

Hamilton was joined in the podium by his teammate, the eventual 2016 F1 champion, Nico Rosberg, and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
