This is an exact replica of one of the helmets worn by Michael Schumacher in the 2010 Formula 1 season.
In his return to Formula 1, the German legend kept a similar helmet design to those from his Ferrari collection, with the red color as the main paint. The asteroids in the top of the helmet remained, painted in silver, while Chinese dragons and other Chinese symbols were added to the back and sides of the head protector.
Opposite to other helmet designs from 2010, this design had a slight change in the tones of color. With the candy red being changed to rose red, and the silver color of the asteroids and other details was changed to grey.
In the 2010 F1 season, Schumacher scored 72 points and finished in ninth place in the World Drivers’ Championship standings in his first year with Mercedes. It was not the comeback the seven-time champion was waiting for, but he got close to some podium finishes throughout the year and did not look out of shape.
