THE FLAG MEASURES 3 X 5 FEET / 150 X 90 CM
This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by Michael Schumacher in the 2006 Chinese Grand Prix weekend.
For the Shanghai GP in 2006, Schumacher chose to maintain a similar helmet design and the main color of his head protector as the previous year and other races in 2006. However, for the all-important 2006 race at Shanghai, the German elected to change the colors of the helmet’s details to a golden tone. The Chinese dragons of the back of the crash helmet, and the Chinese symbols on the sides were painted in gold. Also, the asteroids in the top were removed in favor of golden stars.
Starting from sixth place, Schumacher beat Renault’s Fernando Alonso for the victory and tied the Spanish driver in the World Drivers’ Championship with two races left. His win in the 2006 Shanghai GP was his 91st in the pinnacle of motorsport and the last victory of his career.
We use polyurethane paints which have excellent performance characteristics: adhesion, hardness, gloss, flexibility, and resistance to abrasion, impact, weathering, acids and solvents.
The helmets are manufactured using high standard procedures.
This is a highly sought after collectors’ items. All the little aerodynamic shapes, colors and decals have been replicated to perfection on this helmet.
