The helmet is Senna’s 1985 chartreuse edition, one of the most distinct designs of the Brazilian’s career. Instead of the usual fire or lemon yellow, Senna drove with a chartreuse yellow helmet during 1985 with Lotus. The rest of the helmet responds to Senna’s classic livery.

In 1985, Senna drove for the first time with a big-name team and did not disappoint. The Sao Paulo-born champion won two races for Lotus and finished fourth in the championship standings.
