For his first campaign with Mercedes, after spending six years with McLaren, Hamilton’s helmet collection remained with the main yellow, with blue, red, and green details. The helmet’s design was not identical to the McLaren years, with the details on the side covering a larger part of the livery.

Instead of just three details on the sides and the front, the 2013 helmet design has multiple stripes of red, green, and blue. The red stripes are the most noticeable, with an “LH” text in the lower stripe. On the back, the “Hamilton” test from the previous year remains with a red background outlined with a silver line.

In the 2013 season, Hamilton finished the year in fourth place in the drivers’ title, taking his first win with Mercedes at Hungary, reaching five podiums, and scoring the first five Pole Positions of his career with the Silver Arrows.
