On his way to winning his home race from 19th on the grid, Antonelli wore a design inspired by Italian culture, painted with the Italian flag colors throughout the helmet, including several drawings of Italian heritage.
The design was created along with Aldo Drudim, who created helmets for motorcycle racing legend Valentino Rossi. The back includes a drawing of Rossi carrying Antonelli.
