This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by Gerhard Berger during the 1991 Formula 1 season.

The helmet is black with the Austrian flag positioned on each side. The design is very simple, but it is fairly original. Rounding the top of the helmet a white ring can be seen with the Marlboro sponsorship on it.

In 1991, Berger finished fourth in the World Drivers’ Championship, which was won by his teammate Ayrton Senna. He took six podiums during the year, including his first win with McLaren in the 1991 Japanese Grand Prix.
