This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by Elio de Angelis in the 1985 season.
De Angelis’ design, which was the same throughout his career, consisted of a white helmet with two stripes painted in red and denim blue. Both stripes begin in the lower section of the sides and they merge on the back of the helmet. De Angelis’ name is written in cursive lettering in the denim blue stripe.
In 1985, de Angelis scored three podiums, including a victory in the San Marino Grand Prix. He finished fifth in the World Drivers’ Championship.
