Lewis Hamilton Diamond Helmet

Back when Lewis Hamilton entered Formula 1, in 2007, McLaren had years with a tradition that put diamonds in the helmets of the team’s drivers for the Monaco Grand Prix, and the GP2 champion from 2006, Lewis Hamilton, enjoyed such honor in his first few races at Monaco, and his helmet was adorned with lovely diamond for the most prestigious race in the world.

In 2008, Hamilton won the race from third on the grid and with a wet track. All with diamonds in his crash helmet.
