Fernando Alonso returned to the pinnacle of motorsport and started a Formula 1 race for the first time since the 2018 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Alonso’s first race back with Alpine (Renault), the 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix, did not end well for him, but the 2021 season could be exciting for the two-time World Champion.
Of course, there is always excitement for the first race of a Grand Prix season, and the inaugural race of 2021 paid off for the fans. Not only was the race thrilling on track, but it was also great for us at CM Helmets to see some of the new helmet designs from drivers, Alonso showed off his traditional light blue and yellow helmet, which is iconic.
