Unfortunately, Ayrton Senna‘s untimely death in the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix did not allow the motor racing world to see long, hard-fought battles between the Brazilian and Michael Schumacher, but the debate of who is better will always be alive.

Senna’s Formula 1 career lasted from 1984 until the tragic third race of the 1994 campaign and the Brazilian achieved stunning results in the pinnacle of motorsport, winning three World Drivers’ Championship, taking 41 victories and 65 Pole Positions (which was the historical record at the time of his death).

Schumacher, on his side, competed in Formula 1 in 19 seasons from 1991 to 2012 and set most of the all-time records of the sport, with seven World Championships, 91 victories, 155 podiums (record beaten by Lewis Hamilton this year) and 68 Pole Positions (broken by Hamilton in 2017).

Whos is the best? Well, the only certain answer is that these two legends are part of the highest level of motor racing and are two of the biggest champions ever.
