Mercedes started its dominant F1 run in the 2014 Formula 1 season and Lewis Hamilton won the title ahead of his teammate Nico Rosberg in that campaign (his second championship).
The 2015 F1 season started in similar fashion, with Hamilton winning three of the first four races in the campaign. The third of those wins came in the 2015 Bahrain Grand Prix, celebrated on April 19th, 2015.
Hamilton won the race ahead of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg. The victory was Hamilton’s 36th in F1 and Mercedes’ 32nd victory.
Moreover, it was Raikkonen’s first podium since the 2013 Korean Grand Prix and the 78th of his career. For Rosberg, it was his 30th F1 podium.
