After four seasons with Ferrari wearing his traditional white helmet collection, Schumacher elected to remove the white color from the design in favor of the candy red. The change proved to bring better luck to the German, as he gave Ferrari its first Drivers’ Championship since 1979.

The candy red appeared instead of the white, also, the blue of the circle on top of the helmet was removed in favor of the candy red. The asteroids on the top and the German flag colors on the sides remained.

This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by Michael Schumacher in the early stages of the 2000 Formula 1 season.

This helmet is part of Schumacher’s traditional collection in his first seasons in Formula 1. Despite wearing a red-colored helmet during most of his career, white was Schumacher’s main color in his first nine seasons.

The design included the traditional blue circle on top with white asteroids, and the horizontal stripe on the sides painted with the colors of the German flag. From the 2000 Monaco Grand Prix on, Schumacher never wore a white helmet in Formula 1 again.
