For his second year at Ferrari, the Finnish racer was the reigning champion, and he decided to wear a black helmet, with big sections in orange and grey in the design. Raikkonen’s insignia can be seen in the top, while paisley motifs were included on the sides. The inscription “Iceman” is present on each side of the head protector and at the front.

The back is painted in black, with a black Prancing Horse created with minimalist white lines.

Defending his championship from 2007, Raikkonen had a down year in 2008, winning two races, achieving nine podiums and finished third in the standings, behind the champion Lewis Hamilton and his teammate Felipe Massa.

This is an exact replica of the Kimi Raikkonen F1 helmet worn in the 2008 Monaco Grand Prix.

For the 2008 Monaco GP, Raikkonen changed his helmet design. For the sixth race of the F1 calendar, Raikkonen wore a predominantly white helmet. The helmet features Raikkonen’s traditional orange and black shades on the sides. On the lower part and the back of the helmet, black paisley motifs are positioned. The Ferrari Prancing Horse of the back of the head protector is gold plated and outlined with black and red lines.

A golden “Iceman” inscription outlined with black and red lines is painted on the sides. In the top of the helmet, the Raikkonen insignia is painted with details in gold and black with a red background, while the inscription “Monaco” is included with the same style of the “Iceman” text and the Prancing Horse at the back.

In the race, Raikkonen started in second place behind Felipe Massa and finished in ninth place after a troubled Sunday.
