The Mercedes’ driver wore a special helmet for the team’s home race to celebrate 125 years of Mercedes-Benz motorsport. The design is similar to his regular 2019 helmet; however, a vintage look was added to the livery.

The helmet features white sides with red wings on each side painted in candy red with black flashes. Five starts can be seen on the sides to resemble the Englishman’s five Formula One championships. The five stars on each side were painted in gold for the special celebration.

In the upper area of the helmet, Hamilton’s car number (44) can be seen, painted in gold. Also, the logo of the 125 years celebration is in the top of the helmet.
