The helmet, Alesi’s traditional since the start of his career, is a homage to Elio de Angelis, with the design being the same the Italian driver wore. However, this helmet is chromed instead of white. The rest of the livery is the same as de Angelis’, with red and black stripes from the sides to the back and Jean Alesi’s name written on each side.

The top is painted in royal blue and raindrops can be seen oon the top, painted in light blue.

In the 2000 season, Alesi couldn’t score points for Prost.

Similar to his brother Michael’s design, Ralf’s livery has a stripe which covers the front, sides and back of the helmet and is painted with the colors of the German flag. Also, the top contains a square pattern and asteroids, like his brother’s helmets.

This helmet is part of Schumacher’s traditional collection in his first seasons in Formula 1. Despite wearing a red-colored helmet during most of his career, white was Schumacher’s main color in his first nine seasons.

After four seasons with Ferrari wearing his traditional white helmet collection, Schumacher elected to remove the white color from the design in favor of the candy red. The change proved to bring better luck to the German, as he gave Ferrari its first Drivers’ Championship since 1979.
