This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by British driver Nigel Mansell during the 1989 and 1990 Formula One seasons, his two years with the Scuderia Ferrari.

The design, Mansell’s typical throughout his career, is divided between a white section in the front —surrounding the visor—, and a blue area in the back of the helmet. The two areas are mixed with white and red arrows in the sides —the arrows are united on the back of the helmet and both are pointing towards the visor—. 

The difference from other helmet liveries during his F1 career is the white band surrounding the top of the helmet, which includes the Marlboro ad on the sides.

The colors of the Union Flag are the most important aspect of the livery.

In 31 starts for the Italian team, Mansell won three Grands Prix and had eight other podiums. He finished fourth and fifth in the WDC in 1989 and 1990, respectively.
