This helmet is an exact replica of one of the helmets worn by Michael Schumacher in the 1994 season, the year of his Formula 1 World Championship.

Driving for Benetton, Schumacher kept his regular design. The white helmet with a blue circle on top and the colors of the German flag on the sides was Schumacher’s traditional head protector with Benetton and his early years at Ferrari afterwards. As a difference with his other helmet from 1994, the light blue circle on top was changed to navy blue.

The asteroids on top of the helmet remained. However, instead of the seven asteroids of the other 1994 helmet, Schumacher displayed only five asteroids in this head protector.

Schumacher battled with the legendary Ayrton Senna in the early stages of 1994, then, after Senna’s fatal crash at Imola, the Brazilian’s teammate at Williams, Damon Hill, fought with the German until the controversial final race of the campaign, the Australian GP at Adelaide.

Schumacher and Hill collided in the final race and both retired from the GP, which gave the German his first championship by a margin of one point. In 1994, Schumacher won eight races, achieved six Pole Positions and appeared on the podium 10 times.
