This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by F1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen in the 1993 season.

Hakkinen’s typical helmet design, which he chose in his karting days, include the colors of the Finnish flag. The helmet is white with three stripes on the sides painted in three different tones of blue, going from lighter to deeper from the low stripe to the top one. The helmet contains a white halo on the top and the top is painted in indigo blue.

In 1993, Hakkinen competed in only three races for McLaren and he achieved the first podium of his career in the 1993 Japanese Grand Prix.
