This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by two-time Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso during the 2013 Indian Grand Prix.

The special livery is colored in white with red and golden details. The sides and the top feature the inscription “1571” which was the then points record in Formula 1 history, established by Alonso in the previous race, the Japanese Grand Prix.

The top features the phrase “thank you” written in French, English and Italian, directed to the three teams he achieved points with —Renault, McLaren and Ferrari—. Also, Alonso’s arrows can be seen, both painted in silver. The Spanish driver said that he took the arrows from a toy he was gifted as a kid because the driver had the arrows on his helmet.

Alonso entered the race in second place in the championship. However, he finished the race in 11th place as Sebastian Vettel sealed the title in his favor.
