The Mercedes’ driver regularly wore a white and candy red helmet during his championship-winning 2019. However, for the last race of the year, the six-time champion wore his now typical gold-painted helmet at Abu Dhabi.

The helmet features golden sides with wings on each side painted in candy red. Six black starts with golden outlines can be seen on the sides to resemble the Englishman’s six Formula One championships.

In the upper area of the helmet, Hamilton’s car number (44) and a Laurel Wreath with the 2019 World Champion inscription can be seen.

In the back, the Brazilian Cristo Redentor created with black minimalist lines and the inscription “Still I Rise”, which Hamilton describes as an inspirational quote, are included.

Hamilton won the 2019 title comfortably with 11 victories, 17 podiums and a record of 413 points.

This is an exact replica of the helmet worn by Lewis Hamilton in the 2012 Singapore Grand Prix weekend.

After two unlucky races at Singapore in the previous two years, Hamilton chose to change his helmet design for the race, wearing white for the first time in his Formula 1 career, hoping for a change of luck during Formula 1’s night race.

The livery has the same design from Hamilton’s regular 2012 collection, but the white took over from the yellow, with the top of the helmet painted with a red Singapore Merlion figure. In the red vertical stripe of the sides, the crescent moon and five white stars of the Singaporean flag were added.

During the competition, Hamilton was solid on Saturday and went fastest to take Pole Position. However, his unlucky run at behind the lights of Singapore continued. After leading the first 22 races of the race, a problem in his McLaren’s gearbox kept him away from a second win at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
