Charles Leclerc gave Ferrari its second consecutive Formula 1 win after taking a solid triumph in the 2022 Austrian Grand Prix.
Ferrari now has four wins in 2022 and the team is still trying to put up a fight against Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen, who finished second in Austria after starting from Pole Position.
Leclerc took his third win of the year and the fifth of his Formula 1 career. It was also his first-ever Formula 1 win after starting below P1 and his first in Spielberg’s Red Bull Ring.
Sir Lewis Hamilton finished third for Mercedes and scored his fourth podium of the year and his third in a row, while his teammate recovered from front-wing damage and a penalty due to a collision with Red Bull’s Sergio Pérez to finish fourth in a great race.

There were controversies in the stands, as there were accusations of wrongful behavior from many of the fans watching the event.
Mick Schumacher (Haas) was one of the stars of the weekend, as he finished a career-best sixth to claim points for the second consecutive race, after claiming his first points at Silverstone last week (with an eighth-place). The German also showed tremendous racecraft, as he battles with Sir Lewis Hamilton in Saturday’s Sprint and on Sunday’s Grand Orix with both drivers showing brilliant skills and respect.
