The British Grand Prix will be celebrated on Sunday and the event will be the 10th race of the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship season.
The race will be held at Silverstone, the track that hosted the first-ever race of the World Championship back in 1950.
Sir Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) will be aiming for another home win, although Red Bull are the favorites to win the event, mainly with Max Verstappen.
Ferrari will also be another threat to Hamilton’s dream, as the team’s challenger for the 2022 F1 season, the F1-75, has also been a faster car than Mercedes’ W13 for the entire campaign.

Hamilton has taken the most wins at the British Grand Prix, with eight. His eight wins in the event are tied for the most at any Grand Prix (he’s won the Hungarian Grand Prix eight times as well, while Michael Schumacher won the French GP eight times).
In terms of home wins, Hamilton ranks first, followed by Alain Prost’s six wins in the French Grand Prix, and Jim Clark’s five victories in the British Grand Prix. Juan Manuel Fangio (Argentina), Nigel Mansell (Great Britain), and Michael Schumacher (Germany) all won their home Grand Prix four times.
In Schumacher’s case, he won the German Grand Prix four times, and also won five European Grands Prix at the Nürburgring, giving him nine total wins in Germany.
