In the 150th Grand Prix of his Formula 1 career, Dutch driver Max Verstappen (Red Bull) took the 26th win of his career.

That success has now put him one victory ahead of two iconic drivers: Jim Clark and Niki Lauda.

Clark, a two-time F1 champion who tragically passed away after an accident at age 32, won 25 races and was the all-time leader in that department at the time of his death. He won 34.25% of his races (73 entries).

Moreover, the iconic Lauda (three-time F1 champion) won 25 races in 177 attempts (14.12%, quite similar to Verstappen’s 17.33%).

Both Clark (Scottish driver) and the Austrian Lauda now sit 10th in F1 history in terms of wins among drivers, while Verstappen is ninth.

The next target in this department for the Dutchman is three-time World Champion Jackie Stewart, who won 27 races in 100 attempts during his career.
