Lauda won 25 races in his illustrious career and achieved 54 podiums in 171 starts.

The Austrian has one of the greatest stories in sports’ history, as he recovered from a near-tragic crash in the 1976 German Grand Prix and went on to compete again in F1 and win two more championships after being severely burned in the accident.
Lauda is also one half of what was one of the greatest rivalries in F1 history, when he competed against James Hunt for the 1976 F1 championship.
