The 2020 Turkish Grand Prix will be the 14th race of the 2020 Formula 1 World Championship. The Intercity Istanbul Park returns to the Formula 1 calendar for the first time since 2011, due to the pandemic changing the 2020 original schedule.
The first Turkish Grand Prix was celebrated in 2005, and the race stayed on the calendar until 2011 when financial issues hindered the GP’s chances to continue.
The British legend will seal his title if he finishes in front of his teammate Valtteri Bottas, or if Bottas does not outscore him by eight points.
In the history of the Turkish Grand Prix, Felipe Massa is the all-time leader in wins after taking victories in 2006, 2007, and 2008 for Ferrari.
The race will be celebrated on November 15th.
