Dutch racer Max Verstappen won the second race of the 2022 Formula 1 season after defeating Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari in the late stages of the 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
The race was a good one, as it was the other Red Bull driver, Sergio Pérez, who started from Pole Position and led before making his pitstop. Right after, Williams’ Nicholas Latifi crashed and caused a Safety Car which benefitted Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen, and Carlos Sainz, and hindered Pérez’s race.
In the end, Verstappen won ahead of the Ferrari pair of Leclerc and Sainz.
Leclerc continues to lead the World Drivers’ Championship after two races, but it is still early in the 2022 Formula 1 campaign.
The next race will be the 2022 Australian Grand Prix, at Albert Park Circuit, Melbourne.
