Formula 1 is the pinnacle of motorsport and to succeed at that level is definitely the biggest accomplishment in motor racing. Drivers like Sir Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher are two examples of how to dominate a sport with unique consistency.

Hamilton ranks at the top of the list among drivers who have taken Grand Prix victories in their careers. The English driver, who has seven World Drivers’ Championships, has won 103 races throughout his career (since 2007).

On the other end, Schumacher is behind Hamilton with 91 victories in his F1 journey (1991-2012). Hamilton has won 103 of his 301 races, while Schumacher won 91 of 308 starts.

The Top 5 is completed by Sebastian Vettel, who is third with 53 victories (291 starts). The German driver, who won four championships in his career, won a race with Toro Rosso, 38 with Red Bull and 14 with the Scuderia Ferrari.

Alain Prost, another four-time World Champion, is fourth all-time with 51 wins in 202 races. The French legend won nine races with Renault, 30 with McLaren, five with the Scuderia Ferrari and seven with Williams.

To round out the list, we have the legendary three-time champion, Ayrton Senna. Senna won 41 races before his unfortunate crash in the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. His first six victories came with Lotus between 1985 and 1987, and he then won 35 races with McLaren (1988-1993). Senna is the all-time leader in wins for McLaren.
