The Formula 1 2022 World Championship season continues this week with the 2022 Japanese Grand Prix at the coveted Suzuka Circuit, which is returning to the pinnacle of motor racing for the first time since 2019.
Max Verstappen has the chance to become a World Champion in Japan, as he needs to outscore Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc by six points and his Red Bull teammate Sergio Pérez by eight.
Red Bull has dominated the 2022 season and is currently on its second streak of at least six consecutive victories.

The Austrian team has won 13 of the 17 races this year, and Verstappen is comfortably leading the Drivers’ standings.
In Formula 1’s previous race at Japan, Valtteri Bottas drove his Mercedes W10 to victory, and Mercedes sealed what was their sixth consecutive World Constructors’ Championship back then.
The race will go ahead on Sunday, October 9th.
