Before entering Formula 1 with a huge impact in 1984, Ayrton Senna competed in the 1983 British Formula Three championship and won it after a great fight with Martin Brundle.
Senna won 12 of the 20 races in that championship and scored 132 points to win the title. He also won the 1983 Macau Grand Prix from Pole Position, all with the West Surrey Racing team.
Senna wore the traditional helmet design that he wore during his legendary F1 career, but sponsors were different.
