The Canadian legend competed in Formula 1 from 1977 until his untimely death in 1982 at Zolder, Belgium. He made his F1 debut for McLaren in the 1977 British Grand Prix and then drove for Ferrari.

With the Italian brand, Villeneuve showed his unique skills behind the wheel of an F1 car and won six races. Though he did not win the F1 championship, he remains an iconic figure of the sport and is a beloved figure among F1 fans, especially Ferrari fans.
