During his F1 career, from 1965 to 1973, Jackie Stewart won three World Championships, the first with Matra in 1969 (owned by Tyrrell) and the last two with Tyrrell (1971 and 1973).

Stewart had a big input in working towards a safer Formula 1. His racing was also great during his push for more safety, as he retired from the sport in 1973 as the all-time leader in victories, with 27.
Stewart retired with 43 podiums and 359 points. He also achieved 17 Pole Positions and 15 Fastest Laps.
