Ayrton Senna is one of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history, and he had an iconic career that is still remembered dearly by diehard Formula 1 fans who had the pleasure to see him competing.
Senna started his Formula 1 career in 1984 with Toleman, and drove the TG183B and the TG184 cars to three podiums and 13 points (which put him ninth in the drivers’ standings).

Here, you can find his helmet design from that year, which is his iconic yellow helmet with blue and green details. The only difference from the pieces he wore later in his career is in the sponsors.
The 1984 F1 season was Senna’s sole campaign for Toleman, as he later drove for Lotus (1985-1987), McLaren (1988-1993 with three drivers’ titles), and with Williams in 1994 until his tragic death in the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola.
